This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the “GymYou” application (App) for iPhone. Please read both this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use carefully.

What data and information is collected and used by the app?

The user does not have to provide any personal data when using the GymYou app. No personal data will be made available, published, marketed or otherwise shared with third parties through the app. Some features require the user’s consent to access certain data before they can use the feature.

iCloud:

All data created with GymYou is stored in the user’s personal iCloud to enable synchronization with other devices. In the system settings of the respective device, iCloud synchronization can be disabled by the user.
Data created with GymYou includes, for example, workout data such as exercises, sets, weight and repetitions, duration and time, muscle percentage, weight and other body measurements, pictures created with GymYou, workout routines, etc.

The synchronization with iCloud also serves as a backup for the user. For example, if the user switches to a new device, all the data that was last saved in iCloud can be restored. For this reason, GymYou data remains in iCloud even if the user deletes the app on their device.
The data stored by GymYou in iCloud can be permanently deleted via the iPhone system settings.

Information Collected Automatically

The application does not automatically collect any information.
The application also does not collect precise information about the location of the user’s mobile device.

Anonymized user data

Under certain circumstances, the app may send anonymous user data to the developer. This user data is completely anonymized and contains no indication of the user’s identity. User data is collected and transmitted only when there has been a serious problem with the app, for example, when the app crashes. The user data is used solely for the purpose of being able to rectify a serious malfunction of the app.

Security

All personal data entered through GymYou is stored in a personal database with restricted access. The data cannot be viewed by third parties unless actively and explicitly shared by the user.

Your permission

By using the app, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. The use or collection of information outside of your device (e.g. iCloud Sync) takes place on servers in the United States. If you reside outside the United States, your data will be transferred.
