Prepare your Workout

If you want to prepare your workout in little more detail, you can do this very easily in GymYou.
In addition to the planned exercises, you can also determine how many sets with how many repetitions you plan to do.

  1. Navigate to the workout you want to prepare.
  2. Tap ‘Prepare’.
  3. Add sets end enter the values.

When you start a prepared workout, you can see your prepared sets right from the beginning. The current set will always be highlighted and stay on the top, while the completed sets will travel to the bottom.
Of course you can still adjust the actual values while you log a set. Or log even more sets on the fly.

If you complete a workout with preparations, your logged sets will be carried over into the preparation of the next session. If you did fewer sets than planned, the missing sets will also be included in the new preparation, as well as the sets of exercises you skipped.

You can always adjust your preparations by tapping the ‘Prepare’ button in your workout.
